Training, experience, and a shared future This year as well, RGM renews its commitment to collaborating with the education sector, strengthening the training project developed together with the Barletti Institute of Ovada. An initiative with a clear objective: to bring students closer to the industrial world in a concrete, progressive, and structured way, transforming theoretical learning into real experience. A path that grows over time The project involves third-, fourth-, and fifth-year classes in a three-year program that guides students from theory to practice: Third year: introduction to industrial processes and welding, with school-based lessons focused on technical fundamentals, production cycles, and drawing symbols according to UNI EN ISO standards. Fourth year: in-depth training at RGM, focusing on design, welding maps, procedure qualifications, and welder certifications in line with relevant standards, along with laboratory activities. Fifth year: advanced theoretical and practical training, with external instructors and RGM technicians, hands-on welding process tests, and quality control activities carried out directly in the workshop. From theory to practice The core value of the project lies in direct, on-site experience within the company. Students have the opportunity to observe and take part in real production processes, understanding how technical skills translate into practical applications. The days spent at RGM represent a key moment in the program: not only learning, but also direct exposure to daily work, procedures, quality standards, and the responsibilities of the industrial sector. An important milestone This year, the fifth-year class of the Barletti Institute completed the full three-year program for the first time, starting from the third year through to practical workshop activities. A significant achievement that confirms the value of the project and its ability to support the technical and professional growth of students. Training as an investment in the future For RGM, collaborating with schools means contributing to the development of real skills and supporting the growth of new generations entering the technical and industrial workforce. A commitment renewed every year, with the belief that education is one of the most important tools for the future of the industry.

Visita degli Studenti dell’Istituto Barletti di Ovada in RGM: Un’Esperienza di Apprendimento sul Campo   Il 29 maggio 2024, RGM ha avuto il piacere di ospitare gli studenti del quinto anno di Meccanica dell’Istituto C. Barletti di Ovada. Questa visita educativa è stata organizzata per offrire agli studenti una panoramica approfondita del nostro ciclo produttivo, delle tecnologie all’avanguardia che utilizziamo e delle opportunità di carriera nel settore della saldatura e della meccanica.   Il Ciclo Produttivo di RGM La visita è iniziata con una presentazione sulla sequenza tipica del nostro ciclo produttivo. Gli studenti hanno appreso come la fase di progettazione e pianificazione sia cruciale per il successo di ogni progetto. Maurizio Sola, il nostro Ingegnere di Saldatura, ha spiegato come il team di progettazione lavori a stretto contatto con i clienti per sviluppare soluzioni su misura che soddisfino le loro esigenze specifiche. Successivamente, gli studenti hanno seguito il percorso di un manufatto, dalla progettazione alla realizzazione, attraverso varie lavorazioni come il taglio, la piegatura e la saldatura. Claudio Repetto, il nostro coordinatore di Saldatura e Responsabile del Controllo Qualità, ha illustrato l’importanza dei controlli di qualità effettuati sia durante la produzione che in laboratorio, per garantire che ogni prodotto rispetti gli standard più elevati.   Visita Guidata dello Stabilimento Gli studenti sono stati poi accompagnati in una visita guidata del nostro stabilimento. Hanno avuto l’opportunità di vedere da vicino i macchinari che rendono RGM un punto di riferimento nel settore. Tra questi, le nostre macchine CNC , i due tagli laser , le presse piegatrici e le apparecchiature per il controllo qualità. Ogni stazione di lavoro è stata presentata nel dettaglio, mostrando come la tecnologia e l’efficienza siano integrate nel nostro processo produttivo.   Approfondimento sul Processo di Saldatura TIG Uno dei momenti più interessanti della visita è stato l’approfondimento sul processo di saldatura TIG su leghe di alluminio. Questo processo, che richiede grande precisione e abilità, è fondamentale per creare giunti di alta qualità con eccellenti proprietà meccaniche. Gli studenti sono stati divisi in gruppi di quattro per partecipare a una dimostrazione pratica, guidata da un saldatore qualificato. Questa esperienza ha permesso loro di comprendere meglio le tecniche e la complessità della saldatura TIG.   Attività di Laboratorio e Controllo Qualità La visita si è conclusa con una sessione nel nostro laboratorio, dove gli studenti hanno potuto vedere come vengono eseguite le qualifiche di procedimento dei saldatori e i controlli qualità. Il laboratorio è dotato di strumenti avanzati per l’analisi metallografica, i test di trazione e le prove non distruttive. Maurizio Sola e Claudio Repetto hanno illustrato come questi controlli siano essenziali per garantire la conformità dei nostri prodotti alle specifiche tecniche e agli standard di sicurezza.   Prossimi Passi A seguito di questo incontro, RGM ha organizzato un training di saldatura che si terrà nel mese di luglio presso il nostro stabilimento. Alcuni ragazzi della classe, che hanno manifestato il loro interesse e disponibilità, parteciperanno a questa sessione formativa. Il training sarà un’opportunità unica per approfondire le loro competenze teoriche e pratiche sotto la guida dei nostri docenti interni, Maurizio Sola e Claudio Repetto, rafforzando ulteriormente il legame tra formazione scolastica e applicazione industriale. RGM è orgogliosa di aver contribuito alla formazione dei futuri professionisti del settore, mostrando loro l’importanza della qualità, dell’innovazione e della precisione nella produzione industriale. Ringraziamo i docenti Maurizio Sola e Claudio Repetto per la loro preziosa partecipazione e tutti gli studenti per il loro entusiasmo e interesse. What better way to close this 2023 than with the exciting inauguration of our “Lerma 3” mechanical plant! On December 21, 2023 we opened the doors of the brand new factory, enthusiastically welcoming our collaborators and local authorities for a moment of great significance. The ribbon cutting was a significant moment, in the presence of Dr. Cristiano Cavalli Breda, CEO of RGM, Dr. Sandro Bergamo, CEO of DKC and Emiliano Repetto, the Plant Director of Lerma, united in the symbolic gesture.
