RGM was founded by a small group of people with the goal of designing and manufacturing highly reliable electronic components, laying the foundations for steady and innovative growth.
With the growing demand for tailored solutions, RGM expanded its offering with customized power supplies designed to meet the specific needs of clients in specialized sectors.
The RGM Metalworks division was established in Lerma (AL), dedicated to the design and manufacturing of metal carpentry. This in-house structure enabled the company to directly control quality, improve production processes, and develop even more customized solutions for its clients.
In 1998, RGM expanded its expertise with the creation of the Magnetic components Division, strengthening its know-how in the design and production of custom magnetic components. This milestone marked a strategic step toward increasingly integrated, high-value technological solutions in line with the growth of power electronics.
In 2001, RGM Microsystech was founded as a new RGM division dedicated to the production of electronic boards and EMS solutions. In 2004, it evolved towards the design and production of advanced hybrid power modules, from prototyping to series production. With this division, RGM completed its strategy of maximum vertical integration of production for its customers.
RGM entered the railway sector. Thanks to its established design expertise and industry certifications, the company became a supplier to internationally leading companies in the rail and transportation sectors.
In 2012, the RGM Space business unit was established in Rome, dedicated to the aerospace market, providing procurement services, laboratory activities, and management of EEE components for ultra-high-reliability space applications.
In 2020, the RGM Space Laboratory was established, representing the company’s commitment to the aerospace sector and high-reliability components. This highly specialized environment is designed to ensure quality, testing, and certification under extreme conditions, confirming RGM’s focus on advanced technologies and strategic markets.
Starting from 2021,RGM focused its expertise on the energy transition, developing converters and power systems to support electrification, energy storage, and sustainable systems.
In 2023, RGM renews its visual identity with a more modern logo while retaining the distinctive elements of its historic brand. The three letters RGM are enhanced with a bolder font, the horizontal lines are simplified, and the color shifts from light blue to dark blue. The payoff “Partner of Leaders” remains unchanged, confirming the continuity of the company’s values.
